The Warner Textile Archive holds England’s second-largest collection of flat textiles and narrates the history of a great British industry from its local roots to
global recognition.

The Collection combines an extensive part of the business and design archives of Warner & Sons, as well as smaller collections of textiles and paper designs purchased by this internationally-renowned company for design inspiration.

With around 100,000 items, including over 60,000 paper designs, photographs, rulepapers, ledgers, hand-woven silks and printed textiles, the Archive Collection documents nearly 500 years of design history.
