Group visits to the Warner Textile Archive provide the perfect opportunity to discover more about the Archive and gain exclusive access to the Collection. With a wide variety of packages available there is something for everyone, even if you’re not a member of a group!
We can accommodate groups on most days of the week, with the exception of Wednesdays and Sundays. Please contact us for a booking form and to check the availability of your preferred date.

We appreciate your patience whilst we carefully risk assessed our programmes at the Warner Textile Archive. As a result of government guidance, we have made the decision to temporarily suspend all visits including groups and school until January 2021. This is to ensure that we re-open offering the best possible visits for all.

The Morden Package
£11 per person including tea, coffee and biscuits
Discover the rich history of Warner & Sons and how the Warner Textile Archive was created with this fascinating group visit. An introductory talk on the history of Warner & Sons and the Warner Textile Archive allows you to hear how the original weaving mill operated and about the depth and quality of the design that is housed in the Archive’s collection of over 100,000 items. Enjoy some light refreshments whilst you explore the Archive Gallery, discovering the stories behind the original textiles, paper designs and printing blocks that are on display.
The Kingley Package
£20 per person including tea, coffee and cake
If you’re looking for exclusivity then this is the package for you. Gain access to the Warner Textile Archive store where over 100,000 items are carefully archived including over 60,000 textiles and 10,000 paper designs. Enjoy a talk on Warner & Sons whilst you are shown some of the fantastic collection in our care. After your private visit to the store you will have time to browse the Archive Gallery, discovering more of the collection and its rich history.
Joint visit with Braintree Museum
From £15 per person
Why not combine your visit to the Archive with a visit to Braintree Museum for the perfect day out? We have developed a structured tour to help you get the most out of your visit to both sites, giving you a chance to go ‘behind the scenes’ and find out about the collections, exhibits and Braintree’s rich history.

Invitation to View
£20 per person including refreshments
Invitation to View is perfect if you’re looking for the benefits of a group visit but are not part of a group. Gain access to the Warner Textile Archive store where over 100,000 items are carefully archived, whilst enjoying a talk on the history of Warner & Sons. After your private visit to the store you will have time to browse the Archive Gallery, discovering more of the collection and its rich history.

Archive doors open 15 minutes ahead of the visit’s start time.
Free parking is available adjacent to the Archive for a limited number of vehicles. Alternatively, we are a five minute walk from Braintree Town railway station and Braintree Bus Park.
